¿Alguna vez has oído a un herbolario, profesor de yoga, tarotista u otro experto en bienestar decir algo del tipo «si tomas medicación, no estás activando tu poder interior para la curación y la plenitud bla bla bla blahhhhh», y te has quedado como qué coño(!) estás diciendo? ¿Por qué hablas?

¿Ah, sí? A mí también. Así que llevé mi cuerpo/mente de discapacitada negra a la escuela de herboristería, seguí saliendo con/siendo amiga de plantas que -como mis amigos humanos- tienen un montón de talentos muy chulos e interesantes. En este taller de dos horas, celebraremos las plantas, especialmente las que son resistentes, frágiles y mágicas.

We’ll discuss ways to work with herbs internally, externally, and in ways that transcend those simple binaries. Even if you’re not interested in working with herbs internally, even if you’re concerned about potential interactions with your meds (which is totally legit!) you can still come to build more intuitive and solidarity-centered connections with our plant neighbors and relations.
