We are honored to invite you to the virtual release of Stages of Grief: Crip Hearts on Fire, Sins Invalid’s 2024 live performance, marking 18 years of crip brilliance on stage.

Through scenes of crip rage, joy, and grief, our performers offer testimony to survival, love, and collective power in a world on fire. From climate chaos to systemic ableism, from our sacred grief to our revolutionary visions of liberation, this performance is both an offering and a call to action.

The performance features pieces by: Tré Vasquez, María Palacios, Nomy Lamm, Germán Parodi, Lateef McLeod and Antoine Hunter and Urban Jazz Dance Company.

This release is dedicated to the memory of our beloved Patty Berne, co-founder of Sins Invalid, visionary artist, and architect of Disability Justice, whose brilliance continues to guide us towards access, interdependence, and collective liberation.

To access both streaming and Q&A, please register through the links in our website and Instagram bio.

An Unshamed Claim to Beauty in the Face of Invisibility.

Sins Invalid is committed to social and economic justice for all people with disabilities.

Our stories lay a foundation for a collective claim of liberation, beauty, and human rights.
